Maryland

Maryland does not have a single, unified state-wide regulation specifically for commercial float tanks (sensory deprivation tanks). Instead, they are generally regulated by local county health departments, which often classify them under existing pool/spa codes, requiring health department approval, strict sanitation protocols (filtration, UV/ozone), and sometimes, annual audits.
