Oregon’s current aquatic facility rules explicitly exclude flotation tanks from the definition of an “aquatic venue.” As a result, the state’s public pool and spa design, licensing, and operational requirements do not apply to flotation tanks under OAR 333-060 and 333-062. Operators should confirm whether other state or local building, plumbing, business, or public health requirements apply to their facility.
