Texas
Texas explicitly excludes floatation systems from the state’s public swimming pool and spa regulations. Texas Administrative Code defines a floatation system as a float solution vessel and treatment system used for immersion and floatation and states that it is not considered a pool or spa under these rules. Operators should confirm any applicable local health, building, business, or permitting requirements with the authorities serving their location.
