Hello, my wife and I are in the process of the process of opening our float center. You read that correctly, no typo. While we are both experienced business owners, the Float Spa business is new for both of us, but like most Floaties, (Our term for professionals in the business space, and truly enthusiastic serial floaters.) we have come to see the great value in the practice, as well as a great business opportunity in our community. Upon hearing that a few float centers have been sued for not having a clear op-in form with a privacy policy and terms and conditions, I think a roundtable on this subject could be very beneficial for float centers, including my own. Perhaps the board can find people who have a clear understanding of Can Spam laws, privacy policies, etc. and eventually host a discussion on the topic? If we can prevent even just one more float center from getting sued, I would consider that a huge win and a huge help by the FTA!
